What is the purpose and legitimate basis for processing your personal data?
BE CASA ESSENTIAL will use the personal data collected through forms and those deriving from the use of this website and from your relationship with the data controller for the following purposes:
- Contact form: After receiving your request, we will contact you to manage your contact request, i.e., without limitation, to answer any questions or queries you may have in relation to our products or services. The legal basis for this processing is the legitimate interest (art. 6.1 f) of the GDPR) in responding to a request made by you; consequently, in no case may your interests be considered to be compromised.
- Application form for the reservation of long-stay accommodation and/or co-living: Process your request to reserve accommodation. The legal ground for this processing is the performance of a contract in accordance with Article 6.1 b) of GDPR, understood as the booking conditions accepted at the time of formalising the reservation for the accommodation. Your data needs to be processed to ensure the correct performance of the contracted service. As soon as we receive this documentation, the data controller will assess your request to ensure that you will be able to pay for the contracted accommodation. If it is determined that you do not meet the conditions established, your request to book accommodation may be denied or you may be asked to provide some kind of guarantee or security, in which case, depending on the specific circumstances, Be Casa Essential may process the information provided for the sole purpose of guaranteeing payment for the accommodation contracted. The data subject may not object to such processing in view of the existence of the data controller’s compelling legitimate grounds.
- Arranging visits to the accommodation: Should you express your interest in visiting a property, the data provided will be processed to manage the visit. The legal basis for this processing is the implementation of pre-contractual measures following your request in accordance with Article 6.1 b) of the GDPR, i.e. you have an interest in hiring the accommodation services of one of our assets. Your data must be processed in order for the visit to be carried out correctly.
- “Leave your details and we’ll let you know” form and Sending commercial information: If you expressly consent, your data may be processed for the purpose of sending you commercial information, including by electronic means, about an accommodation service for which you have expressed interest, and about other Be Casa Essential products, services and/or promotions. The legal basis for processing your personal data is your express consent (art. 6.1 a) of the RGPD). You may withdraw your consent at any time without affecting the legitimate basis for processing the data based on your consent prior to its withdrawal.
- Disclosure of data to Group companies: If you consent, your data may be disclosed to Greystar Group companies so that they can send you commercial information, including by electronic means, about products or services similar to those contracted with the data controller. These companies offer various types of accommodation services. You can consult the Greystar Group entities at the following URL: https://www.greystar.com. The legal basis that legitimises processing your personal data is your express consent (art. 6.1 a) of the GDPR). Should you wish to revoke your consent for this purpose, you may do so at any time by sending your request to privacy@greystar.com.
- Sending you surveys: to know your opinion in relation to the products contracted and/or services provided by Be Casa Essential. The legal basis that legitimises processing your data is the legitimate interest of Be Casa Essential (art. 6.1 f) of the RGPD) to assess your level of satisfaction in relation to the products contracted and/or services provided for the purpose of improving Be Casa Essential’s processes and services. In this sense, after conducting the relevant analysis, Be Casa Essential has considered that your interests as a data subject are not jeopardised, since you will be able to report your experience with Be Casa Essential through the surveys, which may improve the service you receive in the future.

What personal data do we process?
To comply with the purposes detailed in the previous section, Be Casa Essential will mainly process identification and contact data such as your name and surname, address, contact telephone number and the email address that you have provided to us, as well as any other information related to your reservation request.
Should you make a reservation for long-term accommodation, we will ask you for additional information to enable us to assess your ability to meet the cost of the accommodation you intend to book. To this end, we may ask you to provide certain financial documentation (pay slips, VAT statements, if applicable, a guarantee from a third party, etc.).

To whom will your data be disclosed?
We hereby inform you that Be Casa Essential will not disclose your personal data to third parties, except in compliance with legal obligations.
However, the data may be disclosed to Greystar Group companies so that they can send you commercial information, including by electronic means, about products or services similar to those contracted with your data controller, provided that you have consented to this. On the other hand, to be able to provide you with our services, we hereby inform you that we require the support of service providers. These third parties may have access to your data and will act on our behalf and on our account, following our instructions, and in no case will they have access to your data for their own purposes.

How long will we keep your personal data?
Be Casa Essential will keep your personal data for as long as necessary to fulfil the purpose for which it was collected.
Should you ultimately contract any of the services offered through this website, your personal information will be processed for as long as it is necessary to provide you with the service and, as soon as you cease to be considered a user of our accommodation, it will be duly blocked for a period of 5 years. Following the expiry of this period, after which no further legal liability can be derived from the service provided, your data will be permanently deleted.
Personal data provided for marketing purposes will be retained for as long as you do not revoke your consent.

What are your rights as the data subject?
You are hereby informed that you have rights in relation to the processing of your personal data, such as the right of access, rectification or erasure of your personal data, or the right of restriction of processing, to object to such processing, as well as the right to data portability in accordance with the terms set out in the data protection legislation in force. You can exercise your rights by contacting privacy@greystar.com and clearly indicating the right you wish to exercise.
The exercise of these rights shall be free of charge except where requests are manifestly unfounded or excessive.
Should you consider that Be Casa Essential has not processed your personal data in accordance with applicable regulations, you may file a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency through the website www.aepd.es.
